RIF-Micromramor, one of the largest manufacturers of marble fillers in Russia
RIF-Miñromramor is the leader in the Russian market of micromarble (microcalcite) producers. The fundamental factor of the company’s success is the availability of its own raw material base: Elena quarry and Polotsk quarry. Raw materials extracted from these deposits have high whiteness (over 98%). Now more than 700 highly skilled specialists work at the production facilities. The company produces more than 700 thousand tonnes of products annually.
Last year, the second phase of a plant for the production of ultrafine filler made from ground marble used in construction materials was launched in the village of Dzhabyk in the Chelyabinsk region. High-quality white marble used in production is extracted from the Eleninsk deposit in the Chelyabinsk region. In 2025, a third plant producing fillers from ground marble is planned to open. One hundred and fifty new jobs will be created there.
The company produces components and fillers for the production of the following products:
- dry building mixes;
- paints and varnishes;
- PVC products, linoleum;
- vinyl wall coverings;
- cleaning agents;
- drilling fluids for the oil and gas industry;
- paper;
- ventilated facades;
- transparent glassware and tableware;
- tooth paste;
- acrylic baths and kitchen sinks.
RIF-Micromramor will take part in the Interlakokraska 2024 exhibition. Maria Kalinina, Head of Marketing Department at RIF-Micromramor, answered our questions.
What are you planning to present at this year’s exhibition?
This year we are presenting two types of products.
The first is micromarble of various fractions. The main advantage of micromarble of our production is its increased whiteness and consistently high quality. We have two own quarries, one of which is recognised as the whitest in Russia.
The second one is fine chemicals for paint and varnish production: defoamers, dispersants, biocides, wetting agents.
What new products are you going to launch?
In 2024, we plan to launch new products for the production of paints and coatings: oil-based defoamers for paints and coatings; polyester defoamers for paints and coatings; silicone defoamers, concentrates, emulsions for paints and coatings; silicone wetting agents; dispersants for organic paints.
What is the purpose of going to the exhibition and what tasks do you fulfil?
First of all, the exhibition is a place to hold talks with existing clients. In addition, we will generate leads.
