This is not the first time Peka Chemie Industrial Co. has participated in the Interlakokraska exhibition. The company has a rich history. Peka Chemie Industrial Co. was founded in 1995 in Tehran. The founder was Faramarz Barikani, who is still the head of the Iranian Powder Coatings Plant. In 2022, it started supplying industrial decorative coatings to the EAEU market. And in 2023, a new powder coatings plant was opened in Belarus under the management of the subsidiary – Bel Peka Paint. The plant is located in the Minsk region in the Vilyeyka District.

On 29 February, the thematic session on Powder Coatings: Current Trends will be held, where Leonid Filippov, Head of Technical Service at Peka Chemie Rus (Moscow) will make a presentation.
In his presentation on Quality Control of Powder Coatings. Methods, Equipment and Peculiarities of Carrying Out the speaker will cover a number of issues ranging from the technology of powder coatings production to the applied methods of quality control of manufactured products.

The new plant Peka Chemi Rus will meet the growing demand for quality powder coatings in Russia, Kazakhstan and Belarus. Andrey Yushko, the company’s marketing specialist, spoke about the brand’s flagship products, “Peka Chemie Industrial Co. is a leader in the production of powder coatings in Iran. Now we have reached a new level with the opening of the plant and its reaching its design production capacity in Belarus. Our assortment is huge, more than 800 items. Peka Chemie products are successfully used in many industries: in the fuel and energy sector, architecture and construction, consumer goods, agricultural machinery and automotive components, household appliances and electronics.”
What are the competitive advantages of your products?
Our products are manufactured using high-tech equipment. Efficient business processes and skilled personnel are the basis for consistently high quality of final products.
We have our own R&D department with equipped testing facilities and a modern laboratory. Quality control is carried out at all stages of the supply chain, from the selection and procurement of materials to shipment to the customer’s warehouse.
Today Peka Chemie and its subsidiaries produce a wide range of epoxy, polyester, epoxy-polyester (hybrid), polyurethane and acrylic powder coatings in various ranges. We offer any colour according to the RAL colour catalogues. We produce glossy, semi-glossy, semi-matte, matte, super matte paints. In terms of surface quality and effect, we offer smooth, textured, metallic and powder paints.
We do not use solvents, heavy metals or TGIC hardeners in coatings for metal products. In this respect, we are an eco-friendly company. Peka Chemie endeavours to reduce production waste through the recovery of powder coatings, which means that they can be recycled.
Tell us about your main event i.e., the new plant reaching its designed capacity.
In 2023, our company implemented a large-scale investment project to launch a new modern plant in the Minsk region, which became the largest producer of powder coatings in the Republic of Belarus.
The plant produces more than 800 types of products and employs more than 85 technical experts. The technical base of the new plant is represented by a dozen production lines with a capacity of more than 14,000 tonnes per shift per year.
Reaching the design capacity of the enterprise allows to meet the growing demand for quality powder coatings in Russia, Kazakhstan and Belarus, as well as to strengthen the company’s position in the EAEU region.
The new plant is based on the technologies of the Iranian company that has been successfully operating in the powder coatings market for more than 25 years. Moreover, it holds a leading position. Bel Peka Paint’s technologies are based entirely on the advanced modern experience of Peka Chemie Industrial Co. We have been known in Russia for a long time. But it would not hurt to expand our network and acquire new partners in view of the new capacities in Belarus, and participation in trade shows is a powerful driver of development.
What goals do you set for yourself and what do you expect from participating in Interlakokraska?
We participate in the exhibition to remind about the advantages of our powder coatings, network with existing and new customers, and get feedback.
