Interlakokraska 2022 – the main event of the year in the paints and coatings industry of Russia

Interlakokraska 2022, the 26^th edition of the International Exhibition for Paints and Coatings, opened today at EXPOCENTRE Fairgrounds. For 15 years of its history, the show has become the main exhibition and congress event for the paint and varnish industry in our country.

Even in the current difficult conditions caused by the pandemic and the negative international environment, the exhibition once again brought together leading manufacturers and suppliers of paints and coatings. More than 100 exhibitors from Germany, Denmark, the Netherlands, Poland, Russia, the Republic of Belarus and Turkiye took part in this year's edition. Among them were manufacturers and suppliers of finished paint products, raw materials, equipment and technologies, R&D organisations, engineering and service companies.

Participants include BPC, Konica Minolta, Netzsch, Lesohimik, Moldow, Akrilan, Afaya, Euro Colour, Eurohim-1 FD, Metapolimer, Neo Chemical, Innovative Canmakers Europe, Nortex, Omya Algol, Profline, Rav Chemicals, RIF-Micromramor, Rusal, Sibur, SiLi CIS, Tecsa, Telko, Ultra NDT, Chemetall, Holiday Pigments, Homa, etc. Enterprises from the Leningrad region are represented at the group stand.

In the thematic sections of the exhibition on the area of over 12,000 sq.m. the latest materials for various surfaces treatment, raw materials for all kinds of coatings, equipment for coating production and application of coatings, dosing and cleaning equipment, waste treatment and recycling systems, and much more are demonstrated. The "Surface Treatment", "Special Coatings" and "Antirust Protection" salons have been further developed. 

The international status and authority of the exhibition organised by EXPOCENTRE AO are confirmed by the labels of the Global Association of the Exhibition Industry (UFI) and the Russian Union of Exhibitions and Fairs (RUEF). The importance of the exhibition for the development of the industry is also evidenced by its official support from the Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade, the Russian Chemists Union, the Mendeleev Russian Chemical Society, NIITEKHIM OAO, the Centrlack Association, the Quality Paint Association, the Chimvest Scientific and Technical Centre. The event is also held under auspices of the Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

Interlakokraska 2022 will offer a varied conference programme, featuring over 10 industry events covering a wide range of topics including paint safety, foreign trade, paints and varnishes with special properties, raw materials for coatings manufacturers and others. 

Today the conference programme has opened by the International Coatings Forum 2022. The participants discuss the state of the paint and varnish market, innovations in functional additives, development of paint and varnish production and raw materials in Russia.
